Cloudflare will be carrying out scheduled maintenance to upgrade the database that stores your DNS records and other DNS settings and metadata, improving its performance, security, and availability. During the maintenance window, updates to DNS records and DNS settings might be delayed or temporarily fail. This includes changes made through the dashboard or API, as well as other services that may create DNS records on your behalf, such as Spectrum, Load Balancing, or automatic TLS certificate validation.

The Cloudflare network will continue to proxy requests and Cloudflare nameservers will continue to respond to DNS queries. Only updates to DNS records and settings will be affected during this time.

Expected impact:
Service impact is expected to last 2 - 3 minutes during this window.
Elevated propagation time of DNS record and settings changes.
Intermittent API failures (or increased response time) for DNS record and settings changes.
